Majitek and CNA form strategic partnership to deliver Intelligent Building Management from the Cloud

Software Innovator and Leading Intelligent Building Integrator join forces to offer next generation solutions for Connected Real Estate

Australian technology innovator and software platforms provider, Majitek, has formed a strategic partnership with one of Asia’s largest intelligent building systems integrators, CNA Group Ltd., to deliver intelligent building management solutions to the rapidly expanding global smart-cities market.
Under the agreement, CNA will become a shareholder of Majitek alongside leading investors Cisco Systems and Pierce & Pierce Group. In return, Majitek will acquire CNA’s SiriusTM software assets and become the preferred supplier of software solutions to CNA projects.
The SiriusTM software suite provides specialist tools to integrate and automate the operation and maintenance of disparate building systems (Intelligent Building/Facilities Management). Majitek’s Leap Platform enables next generation service providers to operate a broad array of ‘managed service’ business models. By combining the two, IBMS and IFMS solutions can be offered using a Software as a Service (SaaS) licensing model, reducing the IT capital expenditure burden faced by property developers and managers for building operations post construction.

The first implementation of the combined solution will be implemented in Singapore's state-of-the-art Patient-Centric Khoo Teck Puat Hospital. The hospital is one of Asia’s largest and most complex smart building integration projects, with over 100,000 intelligent building network points. The solution has been installed and is currently undergoing onsite testing, with final handover expected in March 2010.
