Enabling the Digital Utility
Providing the use of network systems as a utility service
By combining the capabilities of Majitek's three software platforms, we enable Next Generation Service Providers to 'charge for the use of any object connected to an IP network'.
Majitek platforms are designed to enable any digital 'thing' (be it information, content, application, device or a system) to be defined as a SOA component that can be deployed onto a global computing grid. Once deployed, each component is controlled via Digital Rights Management constraints that are translated into product definitions, rating plans and ultimately converged billing events.

This unique capability can be universally applied to vertical market scenarios - where an enterprise needs to provide access to information, software or physical infrastructure, as a Managed Service, to large numbers of clients over a wide area IP network.
Connected Real Estate
Large buildings, campuses, gated communities and entirely new cities are now developed with IP networks inbuilt into the very fabric of the environment. This opens up opportunities to deliver a broad range of new software based services to their occupants.
Telecommunications
Telecommunications providers are completing their transformation from analogue to IP-enabled networks. This new software based delivery environment allows them to offer a much broader range of application and smart network services to their customer base.
Banking and Finance
International financial systems have long been built on the back of trading 1's and 0's rather than physical currency. As IP networks connect the majority of their customers, they are able to offer their customers direct access to their core banking systems via the Internet or secure device services.
Transport and Logistics
The supply chain for people, freight and mail represents the ultimate distributed network system. IP network connectivity enables the ability to provide real time insight into the state of these systems and the status of the items that are moving through them.
Healthcare
Monitoring the wellbeing of patients at a physical location such as a central hospital or clinic has become increasingly complex and expensive. IP networks enable the possibility for remote diagnosis, preventative medicine and medical record transfer to any location, including the home.
Energy
Energy is consumed via various forms by almost every single person on the planet. As energy distribution systems are IP enabled, opportunities for improved management, monitoring and optimisation become possible.
Enterprise and Government
Organisations are increasingly distributed across a country or around the globe providing skills, information or infrastructure at each location. IP networks physically connect these locations to each other and to their customers enabling these things to be accessed as an e-service anywhere in the world.
